This place is amazing! Awesome BBQ, and the variety of sides was great! Their selection of sauces is comparable to none!!! Their cornbread was some of the best I have ever had. Highly recommend giving this place a try!!

Ok now why would I post these pictures? I forgot to take some and these were our plates when we were done. Did not leave a crumb! I will start by saying my pulled chicken was great and my husband’s pulled pork was gone. ( he is not big on BBQ kinda guy so that says millions) You can choose a variety of sauce. I am a coleslaw fanatic and thier’s was sweet and tasty. Collards were very good. I was especially pleased with the corn bread. It was not dry and grainy very moist, probably the best I have had. Some great desserts but I was watching my figure. On to the service, loved the attentiveness from ordering and through out the meal and out the door. Drum roll .... The bathrooms were spotless and the farm decor is so cool you must visit while you are there. Will definitely be back when we are in town.

I finally got a chance to get there. We worth the long drive! 4 hours ! I had the solo sampler. Everything was amazing. All the meats were Perfect! The surprise to me was the corn bread and the sweet slaw! I will be back!

Great BBQ. The wings are amazing. The 3N1Q Sandwich was delicious. My son really liked the pulled pork and burnt ends. Slaw and Mac n Cheese were great too. Very nice folks. Highly recommended.

Great spot, food is absolutely amazing. Super friendly service; fast even helped clear the table even though necessary. Will definitely be back the downtown area who had lived there and it's actually dude named Jacob he was like we're going we were going from one bar to another and like we hopped out and we're going to cab so we popped into like a spot and grabbed a beer and he didn't get his and he was just like I want my road

First time here. Ordered the solo sampler with mac & cheese and baked beans. Added 1/4 lb. of Cheerwine burnt ends. Also got an order of BBQ chicken ranch pasta salad and 2 of the Carolina Twinkies. If you've never been here before, the sampler is the way to go! What stole the show for me was the turkey! Great smoked taste and still juicy and moist. Perfection! Everything else was only just amazing... The brisket was tender and juicy with a nice chew, not grainy or stringy. The ribs were out of this world and nothing required any sauce. But if you wanted sauce, they had options for you. I will definitely be a returning customer! This place absolutely lived up to the hype, and then some!

One of the better barbecue spots I have eaten in. Old Colony is unusual for a barbeque restaurant with such an extensive menu of meats, sides, specialty dishes and deserts I haven't had anything but a great meal when visiting. Everything is well prepared and fresh for service. I highly recommend trying their sausage. The brisket is moist, pork is well smoked and dressed. Prices are fair and portions are well sized without being too much. The staff is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The facility is well maintained and clean. My only complaint would be that Old Colony isn't closer to home. If you enjoy traditional barbecue with a touch of creativity you cannot go wrong.

Stopped in for lunch and was really impressed. I had the brisket BBQ sandwich with their signature sauce, plus a sweet tea. The brisket was tender and smoky, and the sauce had a nice little peppery kick that really worked well. Sweet tea was excellent too — strong, just sweet enough, and really refreshing. They were super busy with the lunch crowd (lots of locals and law enforcement), so the staff wasn’t overly chatty, but they were fast and efficient. Clean seating area and restrooms, and the whole place has a good, local vibe. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in or near Edenton.
